How could I forget to mention that they finally fired Art the psycho from the Radisson! Man was I glad to hear that when I went to work on Wed. All in all, work was pretty cool this past week. If anything, I'm just glad to have some funds coming to put back into my bank account. Now I'm back at school, and I even managed to unpack all of my shit. I even took a mere 15 minutes or so to re-arrange my room a bit, and make it more hospitable and home-like. It feels good to be back, but that's only because I'm refusing to think about all of the shitty work and finals that are coming up.

I can't drive 55...
Saturday. 11.29.03 11:36 am
I deleted the previous entry because it was lame. Speaking of lame, that pretty much sums up this break. The most I've done has been work;how sad is that? Oh well, it wouldn't be that way if people didn't suck. Friends are lame. Well, most of 'em anyway. I'm so tired of making all the effort to call/IM people and try to make plans, just to have nothing come of it. It pisses me off when people say they're gonna call you and never do, or say "yeah, we definitely need to hang out" then that's the last you hear of it. I'm glad some people do make the effort to call me and/or IM me, otherwise I think I'd just say fuck it and be a hermit like my friend Brian. It'd be so much nicer if I had my license and my own car. Thankfully, I'm on my way there. I went to the DMV today and owned that ridiculous permit test. Most of the time I was there was spent sitting and waiting for my number to be called. I seirously do not know how anyone could fail the permit exam. It definitely happens though, because out of a good 7 or so people that took it while I was there, only one guy and I passed it. That's a bit scary, seeing as these guys weren't teenagers, they were definitely older, and they were they alone, so wouldn't that probably mean that they drove? Oh well, I'm just gonna concentrate on me, and get some driving time in so I can come back and get my license over Christmas break, then start looking for a car. Well, that should do it for now. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll find something to do today;maybe someone will call or even stop by. I won't hold my breath...

Well, it speaks for itself. I spent my afternoon creating this (and had help from Mr. Dave himself, to whom I am very grateful). Enjoy my new Dream Theater (Train of Thought) themed layout!

I just had a highly amusing conversation with my mother over AIM, so I figured I'd share a highlight of it with you guys. Enjoy.

I'd never leave...
Sunday. 11.16.03 7:22 pm
This weekend was some good times indeed. It was very nice to get away from school for a while and relax, eat real food, etc. Being away from school was so nice, in fact, that I didn't wanna come back. I definitely could've just stayed away. You wouldn't believe it; I bought a sweater...from American Eagle. It looked pretty good, and I tried it on. I bought it because it was already marked down and redlined, and I ended up getting it for $12! I guess to balance out that fluke purchase I purchased the new Evanescence t-shirt from Hot Topic. Other than the short shopping part, I enjoyed basically hanging out, watching tv and some movies, eating real, good food, played some music for once (damn I miss my guitar!! I'm never leavin that at home again), and whatnot. Maybe school would be better if it was more of a home-like atmosphere, kind of like last year. It'd also be better if we didn't have all the shitty work to do. I didn't think about school once while I was gone, and I loved it. I'm totally down for another break like that.

Oh how amused am I...

I was looking at the T-shirts they have, and I came across one in particular that made me laugh hysterically. I figured I'd share with you:

Sepukku is the ancient art of killing yourself if you get super pissed and can't find anybody else to kill.

Step 1: Get a frisbee from the store or friend.
Step 2: Clean the frisbee.
Step 3: Make sure your parents aren't around
Step 4: Put something slippery on it, like butter or cream.
Step 5: Get really super pissed.
Step 6: Fold the frisbee hard (this is crucial)
Step 7: Keep folded and insert frisbee into mouth hard.
Step 8: Push hard until you can't see it.
Step 9: Wait.
Step 10: Die.

If you succeed, everybody will be like "Holy Crap!"
