wow, what a start to the brand new year.

immediately thrown into action the first day of the work year, was pretty exciting but tiring too.

we were all issued new hats, which made me feel a little ridiculous wearing and all of us looked like UN troops.

mite ended up drenched 3 times, swarmed by sandflies and now has huge weird lumps on his forehead. not to mention having the uncanny ability to sneeze 5 times in a row.

jonathan ended up waist deep and lost in a swamp for 3 hours.

as for me, i only got swarmed by the darn sandflies. somehow, they knew the meaning of head shot and got under my hat to bite me on my forehead and scalp. feeling damn itchy and my ears are rudolf red.

time for some well deserved rest.

Would like to start by wishing everyone a very happy new year. Hopefully things will turn out even better than the last.

depending on how much my limited memory can remember, its time to reflect and look forward =)

A reflection of my past year's ups and downs
1. Finally commissioned after 9 months
2. Broke up after that
3. Finally won a lucky draw in my whole life, and first prize. But ended up a dud prize
3. Posted to Atec as my unit (mixed feelings about this)
4. my 21st birthday yay
5. L broke out of suicidal cycle, at least for now
6. Hong kong for holiday, cept with parents

Things to look forward to
1. 2 X Taiwan R & R
2. ORD!!!
3. School again + hot chicks
4. Japan/US with friends for holiday/work

Quite interested to find out what else everyone is looking forward to in the new year

felt so inspired by the necklace, went around looking how to make one.

in the end, it took about an hour with 2 screwdrivers and a set of pliers, pretty satisfied with my workmanship too kekeke, i can be a crafter.

Went to catch a movie last night as part of yanty's birdday celebration.

Somehow or rather we ended up watching this japanese movie about this girl who cannot live in the sunlight who falls in love with a boy that loves to surf. Pretty simple and touching movie but what i thought was cool was that the actress is actually a single called 'YUI' and she totes along the guitar and sings in the movie which is pretty nice song as well. She wore a guitar pick as a necklace, which i think im gonna try making one lol, plus she's pretty cute too.
