Yesterday was a rather unlucky day. i made my first bloody mistake for the concert and viola got a freaking big cut from the bad bad fall which was part of the finale. i had to take 5 stitches on my poor poor chin. i honestly thought i broke my chin or something cos i heard a crack.

i scared the shit out of everyone when i exited backstage with blood all over me. blood over my hands, my neck, my legs and my costume.

i cried a bit, thinking that i cant perform for my next concert. thank god there was taufik who was a med student :) so he examined my injury first then got someone to send me to NUH. Last nite was the first time in my entire life receving treatment in a hosiptal and i went there looking completely like a crazy cavewoman. i was still dressed in my tribal costume with my hair backcombed and my make-up smudged from all the crying.

now i looked like a gal with a goat tee with the black threads used for stitching my chin up sticking out like hair follicles. blah... i better not have a protruding scar if not i will end up looking like a loanshark... Sian...

anyway, i really have to thank matthew and anna for taking me to NUH. sorry, because of me, you have to miss the curtain call. of course, i have to thank taufik. Thank you DB for your concern.

hmm... i tink DB made me realised the reason why i m dancing. simply because it is FUN. because in DB, it doesnt matter we make mistakes or not, as long as we noe tt we did our best and we had fun. how i wished the same could be applied to the other dance grp.

yes. i love RAG. i love the people who do RAG (well... not all... i definitely don't love 'eh! eh! eh!')

rag 2006 was a whole new experience. i did so many things during this rag which i would probably never do again for the rest of my life like sleeping on cardboard outside the LT and not caring whether ppl are staring or not and going door to door doing karung guni collection . one of them which i definitely promised myself i would never do again is collecting cans from a place no better than a garbage dump.

this rag i got to know a few individuals from last year's rag better. just to name a few, they are reuben, lionel and rachel (basically, the techies last year). after spending so much time with each other doing rag, i picked up some of their traits like screaming 'wake up! wake up!' when i see ppl dozing off while doing tech or dance. kinda annoying i know but then i find it amusing! calling each other stupid names like polly pocket, pubic hair, en hui, baks, dinosaur and THE NIECE. of course i got called a few names too. the most famous one being SHE MALE.

yesterday was the end of RAG 2006. during the prize presentation, almost all my fellow raggers broke down in tears when we didnt win anyting . i cried too. tears of disappointment cant help but roll down my cheeks. up till now i believe that our float was a winning one and all the shit we went thru for it was worth it.

guess what i really what to do for this post is to thank all the freshies (dancers and techies) for giving rag a chance and joining us on our rag journey. rag is not complete without the freshies' contributions.
