I got him about five years ago and since then he's been my spoiled little baby. It was actually more of a story of he chose me ~ I was gonna choose his sister, Cupcake. But the day after they were born (Polkadot, Cupcake, & Pumpkin) I spent the night at my best friend Lacey's house. Her and I had known eachother since 2nd grade and it was almost impossible to separate us once you got us together. We would spend entire weeks at one eachother's houses. That night we decided to be creative. You know the forts you and your best friend(s) would make in the living room using blankets thrown over chairs, the couch, maybe even a table? We decided to sleep in the family room in our "fort" that night. When she woke up she looked at me and laughed; waking me up. I awoke to a tiny, orange & white fluff-ball sleeping on my stomache. That morning her and I decided that Pumpkin, the runt of the litter, would be mine and she would keep Cupcake instead. He was considered my birthday present since my birthday was only a month away and I wouldn't get him until right around then anyway. Over time my baby grew out of his name and I began trying to find one that would fit his playful "I'm the king" attitude. None fitted. I ended up coming up with a word one night (me and my sister's 'famous' and favorite thing to do), booffer. Right when I said that the cat looked up at me and meowed. And since then he's had the most unique name; Booffer. Boof for short. He's the only bond I have with my best friend now... as I moved away from Florida just before I turned 11.
I would call her every weekend and we'd talk about everything. We considered eachother to be sisters... and were almost convinced we had to be twins. We thought alike, finished eachothers sentences, both born in New York, and even did the same kind of stuff when there was the distance of the country between us. Then I moved back to Florida 2 or 3 years later & the first 2 nights I was back in the state I spent at her house... but it wasn't the same. We'd changed as the time had passed that we were apart. I can't really explain it... just something wasn't the same between us. But we still talked on the phone as much as possible, trying to fill in the gap that had formed in our bond. Then after 2 or 3 more years I ended up moving back out here, to Las Vegas, Nevada. For a while we still talked as often as possible. Every Saturday and Sunday I'd call her and we'd talk for an hour or so... but slowly that became once a weekend, to every other weekend, to once a month. All the way up until now. I've been gone from Florida for just over a year and I haven't heard a single word from the best friend I've always had, there for me when I needed to talk or cry... and I was always there for her as well, since before Christmas. Every time I see my cat, or hear him meow I think of that night. Back when she lived only 5 or so minutes away, and we were inseparable. That night when we built that fort in her family room and swore we'd be friends forever. And I realize how it feels like I've lost my best friend since second grade... the one I swore was my sister. And I realize then how empty I feel without her. How I just let the friendship slip away, and how she may never know that I still love her and I would go back and mend our friendship if there was any way that I could.

mine enemy had been conquered. I have now mastered that which is the process of getting pictures from the camera to the computer. And now I shall have fun. For no longer do I wish mine enemy to be put to a corner out of my site, where there it remains... banned from being in my hands. Now I shalln't kill the camera ~ but enjoy annoying you on my few days of concietedness.

This is soo awsome!!! Someone actaully got a good picture of me ~ I LOVE YOU ALICIA!!! She's awsome... but she attempted to cut herself out of the picture. DUDE!!! My eyes look green! Holy shit!
