I always hated you, I always hated you the most...

I swear, the management at the Radisson Hotel rides the short bus. I went in to pick up my check from working New Year's Eve, and look at the damn thing to see that I did not get paid the $8/hr I was told that I would have been. So, I had a chat with the accountant, and she said that the waste-of-space bar manager, Troy, did not note that I worked the door, therefore I did not get paid the correct amount because of his neglect to not be a cock bite. So now I have to contact Troy, tell him he's worthless, have him put in writing that I worked the door and need to be paid properly for doing so, then get that cleared up with the accountant and get retro pay in my next check. I've come to expect my superiors to be completely inept. In fact, I've been in the same situation with my own manager on a couple occassions. It's nice to have a steady job, one I can come back to when I'm off from school, but it's very tasking working with managers trumped by the I.Q. of ketchup (which is 57, the smartest of condiments)

I DO exist!...

Man oh man, I'm finally home after what ended up being an extended weekend in Central PA. So many fun times. I don't feel like writing about it all at the moment, but I put some highlights in my profile, and I'll eventually take the time to write an entry about it. Just thought I'd write a short entry to let everyone know I'm alive and well (and an old man now, sheesh!).

I don't know who wrote this, but I found it highly amusing, so I thought I'd share.

Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile.
Walk naked to the bathroom.
If you see girlfriend along the way, shake wiener at her making the 'woo-woo' sound.

As I mentioned, I have uploaded and cropped a couple pics taken of James, Kayla, and me yesterday. So, here you go:

There's my little niece Kayla climbing over me. I said that I now know what it's like to have my own little monkey

And here's my brother James and me. We're a good ten years apart in age, and weren't raised together, but we have very similar personalities.

Yesterday was fun times indeed. My mom and I are itching for a little "vacation" of sorts, so we're making a trip to central PA the weekend after New Years. We'll probably head down Friday the 2nd and visit James in Dillsburg, then I'll head to Carlisle to see some of the old school crew that I haven't seen in years. Should def be good times.

Holy shit, I've actually been updating this thing practically daily

Anywho, I got up around 9:30 this morning to head down to the mall before the big rush of imbeciles flooded the place, and I returned the Gamecube I purchased at EB last night. I alreayd knew EB didn't have the one I wanted, so I headed over to Circuit City to check it out--no luck there. I went over to Sam's Club, and they have some nice Gamecube packages with the system and an extra controller or this starfox set, but that wasn't what I wanted either. Finally, I end up at Wal-Mart, and I see up on the shelf one last Gamecube with the free Zelda disc--naturally I snagged it. However, damn Wal-Mart was sold out of memory cards, so I'll have to go tomorrow or sometime to get one.

My brother James and his wife Tracy and daughter Kayla came to the house this afternoon. That was def a fun time. My little niece Kayla is so cute. I want to have a little girl (not anytime soon, don't worry). We took pics, so as soon as they're uploaded, I'm gonna at least post a pic of James and me. It was def good times.

As for the tattoo plan, it changes all the time. I think I might just hold off for a little bit. James knows a guy that runs his own tattoo shop, and he said he could get me a sibling discount by talking to this guy, so when my mom and I head down to visit the weekend after new years, maybe I'll get one done then. We'll see...

I've got ink fever...
Friday. 12.26.03 11:57 pm
Well, I went and cashed my $230 check this afternoon, then my cousin Billy came over and bought 4 mats and a canvas punching bag from me for $120. Having a nice, fat wad of cash in my wallet got me all excited for Totem. However, I walked in tonight to discover they were booked, so I might try and get a walk-in early tomorrow, or just set an appt. for Tuesday sometime. Since Totem didn't work out, I ended up down at the mall (probably a bad idea, but oh well). I went and bought a Gamecube, only to find out after-the-fact that they were freakin out of the ones with the free Zelda games with it. So, I'm gettin up early tomorrow morning to head down there and make a return (good thing I didn't open the box), then go to Circuit City or Wal-Mart and get what I want. Even with that purchase, I still have enough for the tattoo I want, so that makes me pretty happy. So basically, putting it into persepctive: two crazy days of work is paying for a lifelong piece of art, and my cousin Billy basically bought me a Gamecube. Pretty sweet, I think...
