Click it   | Everything you ever wanted to know Monday. 10.16.06 2:21 am Ok so I have been really lazy! Sorry guys for not posting. I haven't done much of anything on the computer. Instead I have been taking care of my grandma and trying to get the house cleaned up and my general crap taken care of for once. Let me share with you what has happened since my last post... Gray's parents were in town last weekend which was fun. I showed them around my wonderful city. This past week was the last week of my PE class at the college so I get my Tuesday and Thursday nights back. My bestfriend decided to move her wedding up from 6/7/08 to 12/22/07 instead. I am the MOH. I need to lose some more weight, blah. My aunt has officially adopted her son and will be home on Tuesday. Julie (the one from an earlier post who adopted a girl) came over and we worked on the room for Jackson. Her little girl is so adorable. She still doesn't speak much english but she is very friendly and very happy! My biological clock is ticking and I am about to smash it against the damn wall!!! I swear to god I don't know what is going on but if it doesn't quiet down soon I am going to have hurt someone... That's about it! I promise to get online more! Comment! (2) | Recommend! Laziness prevails Tuesday. 10.10.06 9:26 pm Ughh the desire to write anything in me! I have so much to do!! I need to do my grandmas laundry and my own laundry. I need to clean the house and work. I need to study and work on my knitting some. Blah... Anyway, so the boyfriend thing I mentioned before has been resolved, in an adult manner, which is new for me. Before I would probably just have broken up with him. This time in my newfound maturity I just told him how I felt and asked him if we could work on it and he said that we would work on it. So wow I think I might have grew up a little. Besides that my aunt is in Russia adopting her baby so it is just me here in this big old house by myself. I am enjoying a nice bottle of Vignoles from Stone Hill Winery (a local winery) and relaxing for now. (Sorry crochetmama I broke the cork and had to force it into the bottle.) (1) The whole shebang Wednesday. 10.4.06 10:43 pm I won't be able to post for a while so I hope you have some time to read. I have a job interview on Friday. I applied at Art Mart for a second job. I need to off the bills in time to go back to school full time. The only problem is I am not 100% sure that I still want to go to school for nursing. Political Science is an option I have been tossing around in my head. I am not 100% sure anymore and it isn't just in my education. I am busting my ass at work and not getting any thanks for it. The only problem is that if I don't do it I will get bitched out. I work alot harder then what I get paid for considering this project just got dumped on me is not in anyway shape or form my responsibilty until a couple of weeks ago. Now the deadline is approaching and trying to get this stupid thing done on top of all my regular work is about to kill me. I ran into one of my ex-boyfriends old employees tonight. He works for my college now and he happenned to be talking to someone outside of my classroom door right before my class started. We caught up and it was nice talking to him. The only problem was that it brought back a lot of old memories. My class was really good tonight. My orginal professor is out on medical leave and so we have a temp professor and he is an excellent teacher. I really enjoyed the class and I took 6 pages worth of notes. I usually don't take any. I am feeling akward in my current relationship. I don't really get to see or talk to him that much and to be completely honest I don't feel like I have that much in common with him. The only thing we really do together is drink and I don't feel like there is much common besides that. I am feeling a bit depressed right now and it sucks because with everything else that is going on it is only getting worse. Good news...I lost my double chin! I was looking at some recent pictures and I noticed that the double chin was gone and I did a little happy dance! Plus I got called sexy by some guy at school!  Well I think that covers it for now. Please read on... Cardinals clinched the division! Yes that is right we're going to the playoffs baby! I dropped a pants size! I mean I am still working on those size 8s I have been hiding in the back of my closet (I will fit back into them so no I will not get rid of them!) but I am out of the 16s and in a wonderful little 14! Wow what a twisted flashback Saturday. 9.30.06 9:44 am Ok so I am sitting here at my parents house in my old bedroom and although it doesn't look quite the same without all of my stuff in it I just can't stop thinking about how hard I have worked to get the hell out of here. I only came down because my nephew and niece asked me to visit but here I am sitting in this room and I shudder to think of the years I spent stuck here. My parents and I have never seen quite eye to eye. Not in the way that most people don't agree with their parents. My parents and I just have lived somewhat different lives as teens and well it seemed a little foreign to them to have a daughter who would require honor recognitions or awards ceremonies rather then visits to the principals office. I never wore makeup and I never fixed my hair. I would rather and still do spend money on books rather then makeup and clothes. If you look in my gallery I think there are pictures of me receiving my stoles and what not before graduation. That group picture on my flickr is of all the students in my senior class who received special recognition, scholarship, or awards. I got all three. My parents and I fought often but not on the usual things teens and parents fight about. I wasn't worried about curfew or if the outfit I was wearing was apporiate for school, jeans and tshirts are always fine! Instead I was fighting with them cause they didn't want to go to a banquet or competition, instead they wanted to parent me like they did my brother. No John you can't stay out until 3 am and no Tonya can't spend the night. Mine was we don't want to go to that award ceremony tonight and no we won't just drop you off there. I work today so that I will never be like that and that I can provide the kind of life for me and my future family that my parents never did for me. I don't resent them for what I consider not understanding how to raise a teenager who wasn't coming home drunk or risking ending up pregnant. Oh how I pine for a slice! My stomach calls to it! BTW I haven't eaten anything since his morning! Well now I just get to sit here and try to get lung cancer and hypothermia! They know not to be that long with the food! Every chinese and pizza place within 15 miles knows my name and address! Hmmm I should not have worn the flip flops... Man these cars are so mean... My friend Julie just got back from Russia with her baby girl, Anna! She is so sweet. She has beautiful red hair and when her big brother, Dallas, came up and pointed to himself and said "Brata" which is Russian for brother she smiled really big and said "Dallas". Julie had been showing her pictures and telling her in Russian that is was her big brother Dallas! My next trip to Lambert will be on the 6th of October when my sister-in-law flys in from San Diego. My mother currently has my nephew and niece down in our hometown. So I have to pick Tonya, the sister-in-law, up from the airport and drive her down. BTW, my brother is a navy man and they all live in San Diego, CA. My Aunt that I live with got her court date to adopt her son, Jackson, from Russia, today. See will fly to Russia on October 7th and her court date is on the 11th. Then she will fly back probably on the 14th. Then I will have a new little cousin! We have almost decided to have him call me Aunt Beth instead though because since he is only 2 years old he has a small Russian vocabulary and no English vocabulary. He knows the word for Aunt but not cousin and since I live in the same house and I will be helping take care of him. Ok on to the Cards! Well ladies and gents this shirt is officially my lucky shirt. Every time I wear it we always win! We finally ended a 7 game losing streak this evening and reduced our magic number to 4! I hope we make to the playoffs this year! Screw that I hope we win the world series this year!!!!
