Due to the economy crisis, more scammers on the run!

Yes the title said it all and i have 4 scenarios.....

Scenario 1
Once upon a time, a man walked into my shop and was begging for money. The way he beg for money is different from the beggar on the road. The technique he used was:-

A: Mam, I from KL, and was looking for job here at Penang, but no one wanted to hire me, everywhere said they had enough people. Now I wanted to go back to KL, but i dont have money to do so. Please Mam, can u spare me some money to buy a bus ticket to go home? At least, i wont be sleeping on the road, and have a proper home to go back to.

Yes I paid him a few ringgit

Scenario 2
B: Xiao Jie (Miss), can you help me? this is my card from General Hospital, I needed MONEY to do operation on my eyes.... look here... this one i had fixed it... but i needed money for another side of my eye... please donate me some.. cause i have no money.
*keep showing me the hospital's card*

Yes i paid him a few ringgit too (since he is too old grr) - soft spot for old ppl?

Scenario 3
C: Cik, can you help me please? i needed some cash to go home... i was here in penang for a week or 2 (forgotten). i got retrench from work and i have no money to go home :'( (CRY), i stay in Kulim, all i need is money enough for a bus ticket to go home.... please help me....

He keep talking non stop, my mum was there, my maids were there.... and he stand there for freaking 30minutes... so my mum paid him and my maids WARN him @@''

Scenaro 4 WHICH HAPPENED LIKE 10 MINUTES AGO
I was on the phone .... and suddenly a girl walked in..... with a very pity face :( G : XIAO JIE (miss) can you help me? I from KL, and i been here for 1 week, now i dont have money.... :( can you help me?

I : @@'' i heard this excuses for zillion times...

G: is true.... please help me.. look this is my photostated lost ic and such, and show that hi really from KL...

I : nope, now economy crisis, and similar ppl been asking money that way....

G: Im not asking for money, just a bus ticket... please ....

I : only RM2... i can spare..... yes or no...

She just walked out.....

So please readers, is that a scam or real scenario????? with everyone trap in Penang and needed money to go home?

At my previous post of stating my happiness of receiving the second book �Cry Myself to Sleep� from Joe Peters had finally finished reading in 2 days. (I know I�m abit crazy).

Cry Myself to Sleep by Joe Peters, is another book followed by his first book Cry Silent Tears about his abusing childhood by a person that meant to be protecting him instead of hurting him. After years of abusive mother and her boyfriend as well as Uncle Douglas (Paedophile Ringleader), at the last page of Cry Silent Tears he managed to flee from these evils. At last he get to taste the freedom he been dreaming off. Which the stories continue in the second book ~ Cry Myself to Sleep.

The stories continue as a life journey Joe Peters when through, of how he survived and become a remarkable man that we the readers respect now. The purpose of this book had become an eye opener to the world of how he survived and suppress his darkest secret to become a better man that we the readers know off. The book also had acted as a medium to show how disturbance an abused child went through and to overcome it is not a day or two. It is relatively important to have the society to have their eyes open to their surrounding, and lent their helping hands when they senses domestic violent in present of their surroundings. [The case of Baby P should not happen if people were aware of it]

It was funny to see how Joe emphasizes on the word �abode� which now I learned a new vocab. Besides, while reading the book, the story flows in front of me as if it is happening now, which make my eyes grow wider with each sentence printed on the book. My heart pounded so fast when the story was at highest pitch and never seems to able to let it go. One thing about Joe writing style was, I never seem to let the book go away, I just wanted to know what happen next, and keep questioning while I reading it words by words, sentence by sentence. (This can explain why I finished the book in 2 days upon receiving it).

The story flow nicely stages by stages of what had been went through around the years of escaping from his past, it bring you from A to Z, stages by stages which each stages seen a new grown up man, although sometimes he did something silly to jeopardize what he had been planning to achieve.

This second book of his impact me a lot in the way I look at things, it make me wanted to help those abused children so they can have a better life. And again the book had make me realize that what paedophile is, how a domestic violence can took away a child�s innocent and how bad it affect their life in the future(commit suicide, drugs, future abuser, criminal and etc). Not everyone was fortunate enough as Joe; some abused child may become the abuser themselves in the later year which the cycle continues. Only if someone able to stop the cycle, which when the problems can be solve.

This book is worth reading, because it taught you something a text book or news won�t teach you. It is an eye opener to the real world where sometimes the media try to hide it. But again of course don�t start reading the second book before you have your hand on the first book in which it will help you to understand the situation better before judging him in the second book. And this book is suitable for everyone except those with weak stomach.

Now i have a new ritual on Sunday, where ill went straight to the cinema to watch a movie..... But today is not about the movie, but the advertisement that had caught my attention..... is such a beautiful ads by The Absolut Vodka (haha which happened to be my favourite alchoholic drink :P~ i still have some in my room @@'')

But to enjoy this video.... In An Absolut World, Currency will be replaced with acts of kindness :D...

I must be crazy because....

... i brought my camera to KL without the battery

... i spent RM300 on my Japanese books at Kinokuniya

... Spent an hour + at Kinokuniya staring at the right books to buy

... ordered my bday present from Amazon.com but only realize was a wrong book when receving it (courtesy of Eric~)

... ate too much of foods during this raya.... (IM BLOATED!)

... going to few places tomorrow ... in less than 12 hours!

... make a fool out of myself when meeting my uncle's friend (legendary friend haha)

... round the Seremban town just to buy 2 packages of ice and 1 package of charcoal...

... becoming a too honest waitress during the BBQ event at my uncle house while my cousin and uncle act as a chef... i was serving the chicken wing... so i was annoucing "Anyone wants the chicken wing.... "(looking at my little cousin raised up his hand) and later i added "im not sure if is well cook" and everyone have a good laughed..

... was busy giving out the cooked foods to them and makesure everyone have their equal share.. eg: the sausages were limited... when my cousin continued putting up his hand.. i was saying.. no way... u had too much.... and everyone laughed again @@''

... becoming nanny again at my uncle house... but it was fun since it been awhile i didnt meet the kiddos..

... because i make everyone (including old and young) addicted to hanayama puzzles... :D

... was overjoyed spending tonite at pasar malam~

... because i think SNAKES r cute too.. and it eerie my uncles n aunties.. haha

erm im just way too crazy

Finally after a year of saving *smile* and price drop *laugh* and my compact camera's charge dead *ROFL* I managed to get myself a DSLR Nikon D5000 and I named it Eureka *laugh*

I'm still a noob in the area, so I kidnapped my dog as my model. But the camera told me that "Subject is too dark" *lol*

I'm still learning tho... sorry for ugly pics

I alienize my dog with ISO800.... hahaha
