So proud, in fact, that he and Shawn are cooking it. Then they went back and shot another one, and now they're cooking two pigeons so they can both eat it. It smells so bad. (4) | Recommend! the generation gap Saturday. 02.26.05 11:25 pm Jesse's dad's memorial service was today. It was really nice. Jesse did a song and it was great. His whole family was so tough today. I can't believe how well they held up. What a strong bunch of people. So we went out to dinner with my dad and Donna afterward and that was fun. Donna is a peach. After I got back I ended up going bowling with Shawn and his friends. What a bunch of dorks. They are absolutely nothing like my friends and I were in high school. I mean, we were a bunch of dorks too, but different. I learned that sucking at pool runs in the family, and I can't bowl left handed. Or right handed. Or both handed. Comment! (3) | Recommend! spring break at last Friday. 02.25.05 11:54 am Yep, I got home yesterday. I had my first experience with anti-lock brakes on the way, or so I'm told. I went to stop at the light at the end of the Wysox bridge and my brakes like flipped out and I thought for sure I was doomed so I was all paranoid all the way home and I ran inside all like, "MOM THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CAR!" So we spent like an hour trying to figure out what it was, then she called my dad and he's like, "Wow, you guys are really dumb. That's what anti-lock brakes do." Such was confirmed by my brother. But it wasn't icy! I still find it suspicious. Some spring break so far, huh? I'm like, snowed in. Half an hour after I got home the roads were undrivably bad. So far my exciting break has consisted of watching the history channel!! All my friends at home have moved away. I miss the days when I could randomly show up at Amy's.
