The quartet played in another gig an hour ago at this Business Partnership thing. So we were playing and I was approached by the principal. She's like, "so you're ready to read your speech," and I'm just thinking about what to say. I mean, what do you say? All I remember is stumbling on words. Then she goes on to say, "Well I brought one just in case." I ended up saying 'okay' really softly. It was more like mouthing the word. So I spent a good 15 minutes worrying about how reading this essay. I mean, it's the worst essay I wrote. Yes, I say that all the time, but when you have to present something like this to people who are also in your community, it's kind of nerve wrecking. Monica said my face was priceless...so I'm guessing I did look ridiculous. So we ended 5 after 7, and I spent the whole time panicking. I spoke around 7:40ish after Steve Levy. My mom was like, "Why didn't you take your picture with him."

I was going to write other stuff, but I got lazy.


Oh and the essay was for this scholarship I won. I have no idea how I won it. Apparently my essay was good. I just wish I was told about presenting it. Then I would have been prepared.

I got a couple of scholarships. Hooray! I hate this time of year because I don't like constantly dressing up in "formal" attire. barghghhhhhhhhh

They probably screwed me over.

Anyway I was just wondering if this is considered "defective merchandise." Today I went to FYE and bought a dvd. When I opened it, there were two cds that weren't properly placed into their holders. The cds were in the case, but if you tilted the case, you could hear the cd move inside. This resulted in two of the three cds being scratched. Plus one of the cases is like scratched.

As I stated in the beginning, I probably got screwed over, but I still wanted to know. Still.. I wanted to know if this counts as "defective merchandise."
