I dreamed that my mom, my sister, her son and I lived in a small village. My mom went over to the neighboring village to say hi to an old family friend and after a little while, I went over to let her know that dinner was ready. I was previously unaware that this family friend was living in the neighboring village so I had to look on the mail boxes to find the guy's name. It had also been years since I had come in contact with said person. When I got there, I was invited in for a moment and realized he had two sons, one a couple years older than me and the other a quite a few years younger. The one closer to my age was very attractive and I ended up staying to flirt, completely forgetting about dinner.

Sounds like a great dream right? Here's the plot twist ... the family friend doesn't exist in history as a family friend. He's actually a neighbor that owned a farm behind our house in MD. The interaction was very little, although he did help out some after my dad passed away. But there was no kind of interaction that would warrant calling him any kind of old family friend. So this mythical attractive son? No clue if he actually exists. I remember him as being an older gentleman who had a wife and dogs, not kids.

I told my friend about this dream and he started asking if I was close to him, if I knew his email, Facebook, etc. after which I had to explain the situation. My other friend suggested that I have a subconscious crush on this guy ... except that he doesn't exist. I have no idea what the dream meant, if anything, but it was a nice change from recent dreams, which have been more on the rather unpleasant end.

Work today was boring. I'm hoping for the same tomorrow.

It's raining right now; surprise surprise, but it's a nice sound against the window. It's making me sleepy so I may go to bed early.

Until tomorrow NuTang. . .

I nearly killed an old man at work today.

You know that fine line between pissed off and livid? Yeah, I was there. I reached that level. Long story short, this 90 year old dude had me searching the parking garage for 30 minutes only to tell me that he remembered he had driven a different car today. The additives include insisting on coming with me {normally it's a lot faster to locate someone's vehicle if they're not trying to 'help'} and regaled me with WWII stories and how he had come in to the hospital because he had passed out ... great, I'm helping an old ass man who has no memory and has issues staying conscious back to his car...

I already have a short temper, but the fact that I was sent on a wild goose chase for 30 minutes and had to deal with him following me around not letting me look anywhere besides where he was convinced he had parked, but insisting on letting me do my job the whole time. I was ready to put a key in his eye.

After work I stopped at the store and purchased pizza rolls, two chocolate Easter bunnies {the larger of the golden wrapped ones from Lindt and a $1 baby binks one,} some store-made brownies and a box of Morning Star chickin' nuggets; the latter being just because they're delicious. 20 something pizza rolls later, the binks bunny and a brownie later, I was finally calmed. On top of all that junk food crap, I did one better. . . I took a nap. No wonder my metabolism sucks ass. Don't get me wrong, I don't eat like this often; it's been months since my last splurge like this, but today at work? Just a chocolate bunny would not have been enough.

Anywho, I think the cold that I thought I was getting a week ago is making another attempt. I've been sneezing all day and my nose has been stuffy for the last hour or so. Luckily I only have two more days of work ... but since I won't be home this weekend who knows how well I'll be able to sleep. Then again I like being at my friend's place so I may sleep just as well as I normally do on my weekends. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

Alright, I think I'm going to work on a puzzle in my book then call it a night.

Until tomorrow. . .

This morning started out the same physically, but as the day went on I started feeling back to my normal self. Hopefully I won't have to deal with that again for at least a few months. Next time I go see my doctor {I still have to find a new one since my insurance changed} I am going to ask about getting an IUD.

So I went to my friend's house tonight for a quick dinner. I also got briefed on what to do with the fur babies. I also visited the Tiny House people and got briefed on how to care for their cat. This weekend should be simple enough. And I'm thankful that my friends' couch is nice and comfy.

The dinner of choice was the pizza couscous and I discovered why my version just didn't seem the same. I have been using French couscous instead of Israeli couscous. Now I know. The stuff that I am using tastes just fine and is probably good in a number of dishes, but I like what she uses better so I will be getting that next time I stop at the store, whether that be Safeway, QFC or Trader Joe's. Perhaps I'll visit all three places and compare prices to see which would be the best value.

I've decided that I will be buying chocolate tomorrow. I got a pretty strong craving on my way home from my friend's house and the chocolate almond milk just isn't cutting it like it normally does. Easter candy is out on the shelves so maybe I'll buy myself a little hollow bunny. Just something that will kill this craving so that it doesn't get worse and I end up buying $20 worth of candy that I shouldn't be getting. Or... I could always stop at Trader Joe's on my home from work and get another tub of their dark chocolate peanut butter cups. I'll have to see how I feel after work.

Anywho, I need to get to bed.

Until tomorrow. . .

You know you're not feeling well when you sleep far more than you usually do. I'm not feeling as shitty as I did yesterday. Now, it's more like normal where the pain comes and goes rather than staying constant. If I don't feel better by tomorrow then Tuesday I should be fine again.

I got myself a puzzle book from the store on Friday. I have no idea why I bought a new one considering I still have like 3 at my place that have yet to be completed. I'm not saying I regret the decision... I'm just not sure why I made such a spontaneous purchase. I've only done 2 puzzles from it and neither of those have been finished.

It seems that everyone has missed at least one day of this challenge now. Is there anyone who is still going with no missed days? I think the biggest reason why a day was missed was because the writer was not home/near a computer the whole day. I know that's the reason why I missed the one day I did. In my own personal challenge, this is the acceptable exception. I am allowing myself to miss one day a month. I think being able to write one thing on the other 353 days of the year will be accomplishment enough.

Alright, I've just gone through and proof read my entry, finding more mistakes than I'd like to admit so I have edited them and am ending this before more can be made.

Until tomorrow. . .

Lazy day
Saturday. 2.23.13 5:48 pm
I canceled my plans that I had with the friend from work because I woke up with bad cramps and decided that laying down most of the day was probably the only way to keep from suffering. It seems to have worked so far. Even standing in the shower for 10 minutes was unpleasant. Sitting up is okay for a little while, but then I have to stretch out and lay down again. So, pretty much as long as I don't stand for more than a few minutes and don't move around a lot, I'm good. Every few months I go through this, where the cramps are worse than normal ... I'm just glad it's not every month.

Because I've spent most of the day in bed, there's really not a whole lot to write about. I've been watching shows on Hulu during the short spurts where I can comfortably sit up. I'll also probably be in bed fairly early tonight in hopes that I'll be fine for work tomorrow. If not, then I guess it's good that it's Sunday and the boss won't be there so I can basically hide out the whole day.

Anywho, I really have nothing else to put down here. Maybe there will be more tomorrow.

Until then. . .

T-minus 6 days
Friday. 2.22.13 5:13 pm
There's only 6 more days left in the challenge, not counting today. I only missed one day.

I slept fairly well last night after sitting on my ass playing games on my computer for half the day. Although 6 hours is technically a quarter of the day, but whatever. I woke up around 6:30 and went back to sleep until sometime around 11.

The wind is blowing like crazy today and even though my windows are closed and locked, the blinds are moving ever so slightly whenever a strong gust blows.

I have a few more errands to run and I'm waiting for the sun to go down before I head out. For some reason I just prefer driving in the dark. That's probably why I don't mind going out during the day when it's cloudy and rainy, like it was earlier. The sun came out just before I got home from running some errands earlier so I figured I would just wait it out before I finished the rest.

I will be playing Minecraft again later tonight once I get back home, but I have a feeling it won't be for 6 hours again. If I play later, I'll get tired sooner and thus stop playing earlier. We'll see how well my logic holds up. I also have a bunch of shows on Hulu to watch so that might be a reason to not play as long.

Anywho, there's about 20 minutes left until the sun goes down.

Until tomorrow. . .
