No, you have not gone into the future through this stupid entry.

I am only here to tell you of my newwwwww upcoming performance! Who wants to come visit me, eh? Eh? No one? Shucks, ya'll are just a bunch a LOSERS! No, no, I didn't mean that! Please don't kill me, noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Eh-hem. Anyway, it will be the sixteenth and the seventeenth in NYC (where else?).

I forgot to explain the year thing, didn't I? Silly me.

It is the year 4706--year of the rat. Lunar New Year is this week. The Lunar New Year performance is in two weeks.

The concert/opera was good. Chinese history that I would otherwise never learn because American Education is enlightening that way. ^-^

If you want to know more about what it was about, say so.

I need to get up and at it early tomorrow morning. First, off to my grandmother's, then a little walk to my 9am meeting. Of course, I have to bother my grandmother because technically, I'm not 18 yet. (Chinese years, I am nineteen.) So she has to tag along. And I will probably hear her nag at me about it, early morning interferences when she has plans--going to the Senior Center for lunch and hanging with her sweet old lady friends.

And it is 1am. I HAD NOT planned on sleeping so 'late', but as we all know, life does not go as planned. I came home, checked my email, saw that 2008 is a very bad year for my animal, got saddened, then accepted it (like I always do, I'm very adaptable), and now I am ready to sleep.

I, more likely than not, will not have time to go blogging tomorrow so I am risking her highness's wrath to get this down and out into cyberspace.

Plus, I have decided I love Clinique and will go with no other brand for skincare (at least facially) until proven otherwise. I have been using the two dramatically diffferent moisturizing gel samples years before it came out commercially (is that right?). Loooved it~~(as Wheezie says--more on that later).

I'm going to miss another edition of The Complete Jane Austen.
*sigh*

Instead, I'm going to a concert tonight. Now, now, before you go all "That's great!" and so on and so on. I'm not saying ti's not a good thing. I just realized this about...well, less than an hour ago. And I'm just a bit bummed out. Can anyone out there record it for me? XD Pleeeeease?

Even if it's not tonight, as long as I get to watch it. ;) Well, don't tell me to wait more than a few weeks, a month. If you are, thanks for the wanting to, but I'd rather try and find it on YouTube. But then again...if I DON'T find it, I'll have to wait six months for a re-run so...do it anyway?! XD *cackle*

More about the concert It's called 'Farewell My Concubine'. I think. Yeah, that should be right. Anyway, it's by the something Chinese Opera Foundation. Apparently the opera will be sung in English or French. *shrug* ??

So we've got four tickets (and neither paid us ) and two different groups to sit with. My ma says we won't stick with either pair until we know which are the better seats. Not only that, she has to pick which set of friends to sit with. *shrug*

It's from 8pm-10pm. Masterpiece Theater starts at 9. *pout* Ah, well.

Ah, crap! Now I gotta find clothes to wear. NO jeans. *sigh* It's at Alice Tully Hall by Lincoln Center (<--a.k.a. home to New York City Ballet) Hee hee, real close to my place. ;) Oh, shoot! I don't know you people. What if you come to stalk me? Or get someone to stalk me? Ok, people. I am not worth the half mill. you spend to send a guy over to New York City, got it? I should be able to die in peace! Not in the eye by a silencer in the hands of an experienced stalker/assasin.
