I'm writing a paper for french, and decide it's time to save, and there's no drive for a floppy disk. So that pissed me off. My day at the Convelescent Home... Saturday. 3.20.04 10:05 pm I spent my whole morning calling everyone in my phonebook to see what they were doing today. EVERYONE was busy, so no one wanted to go to the Convelescent Homes with me. Then Courtney calls me back, and she joined me later on in the day. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Well, it was terrible for the first half hour or so... I was supposed to keep these 4 old women occupied, but they were all grouchy, sleepy and mean. On top of that, they didn't want visitors. They scared me because some of them would screech randomly, and others would reply. One tried to talk to me, and she started crying. It was really sad, and I felt so helpless. Then Mary and Claire got there, so I went to the people who wanted visitors. I met a lady who kept calling my Janie, but I'm used to it (Spencer) so it was all good. I read to her too. She was my favorite person I think.. Then Courtney showed up. Oh, there was another lady who's related to Jason Mraz. Me and Courtney were pretty amazed by that. And another lady who talked about My Fair Lady for like, an hour. But they were all nice. Courtney and I were watering out on the patio, and a spider decided to attack my arm, and I screamed, and I felt bad because I thought I woke up some people. And later on, Courtney spilled water all over her pants. That was kind of funny though. So that was our day at the Convelescent Homes... all I know is I never want to grow up to be that old.
