My friend is diagnosed with cancer...
Tuesday. 10.21.08 1:27 am
He is a scholar with a bright future in his career.
He is musically talented and serves in the piano service for church meetings.
He just got attached and should be getting married in the near future.
He is only 31.
He is diagnosed with the last stage of cancer... that can mean 6 to 8 months left...

saddening, isn't it?

BUT no matter what, I really hope he will trust that God still loves him and he should continue to live a fruitful life of blessing others so that it is a time of reward and joy when he sees Him face to face.

A promising career is nothing meaningful now when you see it with eternity in mind so let's remember to cherish relationships and love the ones around us even more...

foosball mania!
Sunday. 10.19.08 11:04 am
other than enjoying the real football (soccer), we like to play this too! It is a lovely present for Christian's 7th birthday, courtesy of his aunt (my wife's sister)! although it is usually meant for 2 players, we played it with 6 players, each controlling one rod each :)

A "bloody" shot!
Saturday. 10.18.08 1:14 am
Faith (my wife) captured this blood-thirsty insect in the car! it was fully loaded with the blood (as you can see from its red bottom!) of its victim [one of us :( ]! its fate was sealed with the crushing effect of the thundering palms!

An unusual conversation :)
Thursday. 10.16.08 1:22 pm
Noel, a little boy from our home-schooling group was enjoying an interactive conversation with a parrot... poor boy! the parrot poked his hands with its beak when he tried to get closer!
