Every Day Feels Like Monday Monday, June 28, 2004 Today I had to wake up at 6:30! That's the earliest I had to wake up since summer started! Mom told my sis and I that we had a dentist appointment @ 8, but it turned out that only dad had a dentist appointment. But what sucked, was that I had an appointment with this jaw surgeon anyway. I need jaw surgery because I have an open bite, but first I need to get braces . I can't believe the doctor told me he was gonna wire my mouth shut for awhile. But luckily, the surgery can be done over Christmas break. I don't think I can handle all the kids at school staring at me and talking about how much I look like a freak.
Later, I went to the DMV, which is AlWAYS busy! I had to wait in line for a bit, I only wanted to ask a question about driver's ed. But it wasn't too bad. So now I'm taking an online course here. I wanna really breeze through this online course and get my permit before school starts. Comment! (1) | Recommend! Some Stuff Plus Hollywood Movie Sterotypes Saturday, June 26, 2004 Movies I want to see:

Coffee and Cigarettes

Super-size Me

Just Watched:
Two Brothers
Today I:
Went to work. I had to stay late cuz papa didn't pick me up till past 12:30. It's okay though, I got a cookie! (*MMM Good!*). We fixed the display board that shows what level all the kids are at.
Missed bluegrass group? ( I'm not even sure if I had to go today. I called twice, but got the answering machine.)
Went drivin'. God, it felt so good to be behind the wheel, in total control. I know I'll become a crazy driver once I get that permit. I just need to go to drving school and pass the test. I just wish the DMV wasn't so busy all the freakin' time.
Watched Two Brothers with the fam. The tigers are so cute! Too bad the movie felt a little racist. I think I'm being too sensitive, ever since I found this site, I've become more cautious and aware of our stance in society and the media. There were these typical asian sterotypes that really bugged me.
See, asians are usually depicted as: geisha girls (weak and timid), martial artists (Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan), nerds, evil villains, or dragon ladies(any character Lucy Liu has played). Luckily, there were only two sterotypes, the villain and the geisha girl.
The villain was the village chief. He double crossed Guy's character, he let Guy take the ancient statues, then told the police that they were stolen. He did it to get money, the only thing he seems to care about. The geisha girl was this chick that Guy was totally hitting on. Can't she be more interesting? Why did she let her self be all docile and shiz.
Again, I believe I am being too sensitive, I can't help it. I just get all nitpicky about that stuff. Another thing I didn't like was how the movie didn't explain what happend to the human charcters in the end. But the movie wasn't about them anyway. Why am I like this? I contradict myself alot. Can't I just make up my mind?
Enough for now. Everyone should play this and check out the rest of the site too! Cute games. Comment! (0) | Recommend! Thursday, June 24, 2004 Wednesday, June 23, 2004 . . . A little later Look, I'm radioactive!

A quiz result . . . so true:

My inner child is sixteen years old!
Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while adults might just accept that, I know something's gotta change. And it's gonna change, just as soon as I become an adult and get some power of my own.

On Monday night, I went to Jan's house. We watched Freddy vs. Jason, it was hilarious. Most horror movies are pretty stupid. Then we watched Along Came Polly. It was alright, but I dozed off toward the end. I'm pretty sure the guy ends up with Polly anyway.
Why are Hollywood movies so lame? They're so predictable. But most movies in America are made for entertainment, so I think people watch movies to take a break from the real world. Nobody wants to waste an hour and a half of their precious time trying to figure out a really complex movie.
Later that night we watched Tokyo Godfathers. It was about three homeless people who find a baby girl in the trash on Christmas. I know I watched the movie but I don't remember the ending. . .must've fallen asleep.
The next day we decided to make a movie about pirates. It's gunna be cool. We'll have sword fighting and everything.
Today we went shopping for pirate supplies. I did'nt buy any thing because I had no money. There was only one place that had pirate swords. All the other places were sold out! Who else would want to make a pirate movie? I can't wait till we start filming.

I also have a bunch o' other stuff, like this key club thing, but I can't go if I don't have the directions. I think I might miss my bluegrass group practice, and I just joined. I kinda feel gulity, like I wasted my parents money.
We are struggling because most of the money is going to my sis's education. Oh well (and Jan), I hope she has fun in New York. I'll probably be stuck here working 3 part time jobs just to pay for my college education! I hate you sis, ya herre meh! j/k.
On another note, the first month of summer is almost over. And so far all I've done was sit my lazy arse in front of the T.V. or computer screen. I got my report card on Wednesday and I got straight A's. WOOT!
Next year I'll have one AP class, Bio 2. I hope I pass that before I die. Well, to much rambling . . . candycanegirl is out!
