I am so lazy to update my blog. Bz working although my boss is away on a biz trip and a holiday for nxt wk. Made a few very "insightful" trips, especially meeting up wif biz ppl, viewing of venues for events, eating at nice places (treated by mentor). Have collected alot of biz cards le. Anyway, update on the past few daes:

Took 1/2 leave to do my passport thingy. Hate the ppl at the embassy, u tink u God ah. Make me photocopy so many things that were quite unnecessary, walk 30 mins(total) to laminate my birth cert, being suaned that I AM SUPPOSED TO BE A MAL..... ! Siao loh, took 3 hrs to submit my stuff. Then have to go bk to collect my birth cert, no time lah, sum more only got 1hr to do so. CRAZYYYY!!! Feel so sian of working 2dae, partly becoz its fri, i wanna go enjoy myself, mentor took full dae leave, havent tokked to D.D. for sometime. Miss him alot alot. Tut of wat to buy for his Birthday liao. Hahahaha... I wanna meet D.D. ...

Its amazing how our society has such inconsiderate kids. Come on, you dun nd to shout when the other ppl are less than 50 cm away from you rite? Laughing like for 2 mins (seriously), kicking my seat, laughing at ppl when they tumbled right in front of them. I was already thinking wat shd i tell them (2 guys and 2 gals, or make that 3 gals and 1 guy). Like "thanks for your entertainment! " " btw, this bus doesnt go to orchard (they tut they will pass by orchard instead of terminating at bukit batok)" Oh man, my face was damn black, i already turned my mp3 volume higher, sitting quietly. When the bus was approaching my bus stop, i stood up stared at them and most interestingly, the GAY guy scolded me 38 (in chinese). You tink i cant hear izzit? Siao!!!! I just stared bk again and got down. Had a feeling they will do something. I was rite, when the bus passed, the GAY guy pointed his 3rd finger at me, while i too returned him the present. Thank you ah... Next, the gals too gave me theirs. So honoured sia.

Hopefully, they will get their karma for being so Courteous and friendly, i wish that when they fall down, the whole bus would laugh at them.
I dun usually bother about other irritating stuff, that's how i work. But they managed to make a reserved person so angry. I should have sae something, " thanks for making my bus trip so exciting". Nvm, wat you do to ppl will come bk to you. Gd luck to those ill-mannered kids.

I seriously need slp, slpt at 12 yesterday. Grooming to a gal is important, i can sacrifice my slp. Anyway, i came home late yesterday as i had another event. It was at Four Seasons Hotel, the place is really nice, the food so yummy. THe guests were treated to a cocktail session and buffet. Ppl even went for a second round after the presentation. Alot of gatecrashes sia, luckily i got my mentors there to help. There was this old man with His WIFE somemore, he secretly winked at me when he was going for cocktail. Wah lau, so cheeky. Haha....

Lets see, i have been to Regent hotel, Ritz Carlton, Shangri-la, Hilton and Four Seasons. Where should i go next? Wahahah!

About today, wah helped my mentor and her boss to buy flowers and chocolates, $300++ spent on chocolates and flowers for the presenters yesterday, then $100 for 2 ladies whose birthdays are approaching. Me being the flower gal, the abit girly guy boss so happy that he gave me a bouqet too and a tiny teddy bear which i gav my mentor. Its been long since i have received flowers. hahaha.... Hint Hint to D.D. 1 stalk is enough le.

Today is my shopping day sia, bought something for my special someone (fren), 2 tops and a free bag. Wanted to buy a tankini, but not much choices. Shall shop on sat wif D.D. and FORCE him to pay for it. hehe..

I am confused abt wat i want. I am currently very happy about my job. My boss and mentor appreciates me alot, teach me stuff... I was sort of adviced and given choices by my mentor, 1. She will do a referral for me to a events company etc. 2. Stay in this job.

Should i get comfortable here? I really like my mentor, she can really teach me and not get angry or upset. I really wan to help her, share her work load... At the same time, i also wan to challenge myself, do stuff i really like (e.g. creative stuff, presenting marketing ideas to clients)

Need time to tink.

Anyway, currently, i have 3 mp3 in my hand. Haha.... One for D.D. (ipod shuffle), one is D.D.'s old zen micro ( a backup if mine spoils), and lastly, my zen vplus which i collected from the repair centre. Hiaz.... So tired, too much sun is bad for ur health man. I look very red,like a lobster sia. Hope everything is going as planned, if not better. =)

Wah, 2 events both dinners in a row. really very tired, can just faint and slp while walking. really wanted to take half day leave, but i managed to do without it. The events were an eye opening experience, 200 people for wed, 400 for thur. Imagine the amt of work that needs to be managed. I tell you, i walked more than 50, 000 steps for the 2 days. The pros of events are, i get to eat the hotel food (really mouth-watering), experience the different classes of hotels and finally get free gifts for helping out. Namely, an iPod shuffle. Imagine the costs of all staff getting the gift. You calculate lah. The box is customised with the banks logo and interestingly the color of the box matches apple's corporate color. ?? Haiz, but i am going to give it to D.D., no point me having 2 mp3 although my zen v plus is sent for repair (damn it).

Was really tired at work todae, didnt slp properly yesterday nite. The buses and cars were too noisy. Anyway, as most if not all will already noe that there was an earthquake in Indonesia. The first tremor was abt 11 50am, when i was sitted at my desk near the window. I tok i was going to faint, as i swayed abit. But then, i realised by looking at the windows and building, that THE BUILDING WAS SHAKING. I was still in shock when the people there were like exclaiming, "we better get out now, let;s go for lunch". The tremor lasted for abt 10 secs. It was my 1st time man, seated on the 14th floor, if the building were to collaspe i dun tink i would be able to make it down to the ground floor unless i fly out lah. Life is really precious. I couldnt take a chance, following my colleague, i went down wif her using the lift. Haha, dun follow hor, must take stairs.

While eating, everybodies conversation was like involving the buildings shaking....... After abt an hour, the mgt sae no evacuation, so we went up again. Not long later, abt 1/2 hour, the building shook for the 2nd time. However, as i was walking, i couldnt feel it. Again, we self-evacuated ourselves. I noticed that the other towers at Suntec were packed wif ppl waiting on the ground level. And strangely, they were all looking up to the buildings. Haha...

If there was going to be a third time, tink we can self -declare half day le. Its quite scary, must be prepared for anything.

While going bk to home, the sky was really dark and suddenly it rained heavily. I wonder whether it has something connected with the earthquake. The heavy rain seems to paint a very sad picture of Indonesia, lives are lost, buildings collapsed, everything needs to be rebuilt (including the lives of the ppl). Although i studied Geography in Sec sch, i cant remember every details of e.g. how rain is formed or watever. I Just hope that help is sufficient for the Indonesians and that there are lesser people killed. God bless them.
