Once again, Penang World Music Festival 2008 kicked off on May 2 and end on 4th May had draw tremendous crowd to Taman Kuari, Botanical Garden, Penang. Remember in the year 2007, the crowd was not as much as 2008, despite the heavy rain, the audiences were still having fun.

This year, the music was excellent, especially the troop from Ireland with the smooth music and yet make you want to dance along, with super dancer from Badila troop that spin round and round and round that obtain extremely welcoming applause had make my day.

I only attended the Saturday night, although I wanted to attend all 3 days, but the price was a bit too much for me. However, one night was enough to blast my ears, my mind and my soul. We were welcome by the 1st troop from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, with the traditional costumes and music instruments, the singer sang Tian Mi Mi, I bet was a local delight which most Chinese grown up with that song.. :D

Come to the next troop, with different background of Iran, French and India, make the night even happening�. The troop dancer was indeed eyes catching with her spinning. And the India�s singer was COOL that he can hold his breath so long to sing. @@��

Ladies troop from France� with one man to in charge of the instrumental tune� was eyes catching, he don�t use normal instrument, instead, spoons, legs and etc was used as part of music instrument� oh, his legs dance was overwhelmed by the audiences� *clap*

Diplomats of Drummer from KL, Malaysia, was a disappointment, well to me, when they start off with their music, there was some tune that I believe it adapted from Wicked Aura, Singapore that I love so much. Hence I have so much expectation from them, but it ended up with a disappointment� but the violin player was GOOD�

Last but not least, Troop from Croatia was the best, with extraordinary music instruments that make from goats� skin (haha that cute guy have 5 goats� skin instruments in his bag that I have to give him a new name � grossmaninstrument . the lead singer�s look and charisma was like aerosmith� SUPER KAKKOI desu�

When we 1st reach the destination, it was a disappointment, @@�� parking A and B is not full yet!!!!

Anyway, at 1st the guards were busy asking the audiences to SIT DOWN, which indeed pissed me off, because I�m here to enjoy myself and I�m not small kids anymore. Lots of audiences, I bet were not happy at 1st because by sitting down you can�t dance along. Since I went to year 2007, with extremely good experience of dancing along *standing from 730pm-1230am* asking us to sit was a NO NO�

My friend said, legs gonna numb� yeah indeed yes, and our butts were painful from sitting down on the uneven land�. :P

After the Ireland troop, the audience start standing up, the guards were there asking us to sit down, but everyone IGNORE them�muahahah we won the war� yay.. !!!!!!

Best- The audiences were dancing and having so much fun there� you can enjoy the video after this� :P

Luckily we don�t have to sit for the entire concert, or I ma make super bad reviews.. yay thank god we don�t have to�.

Another problem, people were smoking at the crowd�. OMG� some were good by blowing the smoke up to the sky, some were noob that blow within the crowd� @@�� super noob attackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish� the dustbin was less than a meter away yet ppl were littering everywhere�shame shame�.

Lol if they invite Gackt Camui for the festival� I bet im going to attend the 3 days despite the price� of course provided Gackt Camui is there for 3 days� haha.. just imagine he perform Vanilla in the festival, bets lots of audiences gonna drool all over�

Tomorrow until Thursday (i think so) ill become a part time tour guide again around Penang area, haha, because my brother's in law is coming for a visit, and i was given a task to bring them around (only the 2 parents in law).

some of u must be wandering, aiyo brother's in law, why am i the one being the tour guide, this is because years ago while i study at KL, i get to know his in law quite close, so my parents asked me to bring them around. @@''

What to do, my parents r busy... so they are only free during the night....

now my dad is super busy, with the fence (half way building), the claims (rumors spread that the Insurance company is going to..... sigh) so have to claims fast, and etc etc.... my house is like a construction side now...... thanks to the stupid bus.. so my dad have to be at home to over see the construction process... so he is busy too...

so muaahhaha i become sponsored Tour Guide starting tomorrow ~~~~ i asked my younger bro do he wanted to tag along... he said NO... hahaha....

Renaye came to Penang on 2nd April for visit, and sadly I don't get to hang out with her because of WORK! -_-||. However I joined her in the evening, together with her mum we went to Queensbay Mall to hang around before heading back to the Hotel for dinner.

We dined in Kampachi- A Japanese Restaurant, and ordered Yose Nabe, according to the waitress it was enough for 3 person, but too our surprise the udon were merely a few... hahah but at least we able to save our stomach for later. We ordered sushi consists of salmon and avacodo.. erm FRESH!

Later we had our dessert our the coffeeshop area, believed it or not, 50% OFF the cake once the clock hit 9pm. We ordered 3 cakes, and my Chocolate Fudge = YUM.

Later after exploring the room, me and Renaye headed to Blue Moon, a bar to chit chat, we partially yelling at each other as the speakers were too loud, but it was SO MUCH FUN.... ahh I want to go to KL.... !

It been years since I had my hands on Canoe, few days ago, my friend called asking whether I wanted to join her for canoeing with a bunch of her friends, without thinking twice I said yes, because I misses canoeing for so long.

My 1st time canoeing was in high school experience, together with renaye, tourism club members and teacher�fs trainees, it was so much fun, because with the teachers around us, we get to travel far into the sea.

And if I remember correctly one of the trainee is John, [I challenged him international chess, of course I won: P, because he was using kamikaze style and I was using thinking style] was chasing us with canoe around the sea, that�fs why canoeing gave me fun memories.

Anyway, today�fs weather was beautiful, not too hot and windy, we reached the destination [Penang Water Sport Center]around 4.30pm, and about 5pm later we started our journey towards the sea.

Me and my friend did not go too far away, since this was her 1st time, and the sea was kinda rough as the wind getting stronger each minute, however we did have great fun.

Funniest things happened when the rescue team has to go out to the sea, to rescue few people because they travel too far end @@�f�f

P.s: the place had improved a lot especially the shower room�c. But it still can improve :D

Thursday
Continue with the Little India post... After the Little India journey, we went to hunt for food, wanted to go to Kimberly street but since idk the road well we ended up at new world plaza, no picture taken because we were too hungry n tired.

After lunch, we walk to the nearby store for ice kacang with fruits... we picked - Watermelon, Mango and Honeydew... *drool* very nice especially the weather is hot...: P

Since bloated after lunch, we headed to Gurney Plaza for a movie - The Water Horse... Gosh... it was so nice, touching, sad and etc...

More food after the movie.... had our dinner at BBQ Chicken at Gurney Plaza... not bad, I ordered charcoal grilled Korean style chicken and Renaye ordered ginseng fried chicken...

Dessert we had at Crepe Cottage, I Ordered Nutty Chocolate (I think) and Renaye sunset smth smth... I had forgotten the name..

After dinner and Dessert we walked along Gurney drive and this is when Renaye doing some stunt for my camera @@'' - do ask her to show u her stunt...

- Wake up cook tongsui -Aloe Vera + Apple
- cut the aloe vera and apple - cause Renaye claimed that my knife is too big

- rush out to Queensbay Mall - cause it was Friday
- walk around n had lunch at Pantasia

- went back to Queensbay Mall for movie - no place to sit
- walk around and went into HongKong Cd Store - one of the sales person very nice.. she fool around with us by asking us to buy n buy
