As usual D.D was late for our date to watch fireworks in my office at One Raffles Quay. Am really happy that the company actually allowed us to bring our family members or close ones to view from our office. I wanted D.D. to see my desk and the environment that i work in. Feel abit guilty that i did not bring my family over. Anyway, there were quite a few people already with children running around in the meeting rooms and pantry. We found a meeting room with a small tot and decided to stay in there. The little gal is so cute, she offered me her biscuit but i declined by shaking my head. Immediately she sulked and looked down to the floor. Hahaha... After a few false alarms, i finally took some pics and video. Watching from 41 floors down to the platform was great. The fireworks were like eye level and very real except the sound was soft. I enjoyed my short 10-15 mins of the fireworks with D.D. Here are some of the highlights: ![]() ![]() The night view of the Marina Bay, can you spot The Flyer? ![]() At about 8 plus, we went over to Chinatown, Smith Street, to eat. Had Prawn Jian (not Oyster but prawn), Yong Tao Foo and a Cheng Teng which costs $3.50. The first 2 dishes were nice. The ambience was also nice as we had the 80's music background . So romantic. hehehe. That's all. For the next next, D.D will bz preparing for his exams. I shall also give him space. Jia you!! Good Luck and look forward to our "Love Trip". Yeah! Comment! I will use it for the rest of my life. For the next 3 years, I will look forward to the special date. A date we will celebrate with love. And hopefully, by 111111, we are ready to walkdown the aisle. Thank you for being there for me. WAN! With Love, D.D Comment! Been sitting in the freezing room for the whole morning and afternoon. The morning training or talks were alright, quite entertaining and informational. After lunch, i cannot tahan liao, was dozing. Speakers tend to talk too much on 1 slide, quite boring leh. Anyway, me looking forward to 22nd Aug. Will be really happy, yeah!!! Counting down to 19 days to my "Love Sparkles" trip. Comment! I think it will be a new hangout for us on Sun. Beef noodles, jap food, chao guo tiao, ah balling and fish noodles, who can resist that. I love the beef noodles and wierdly enough, there is a sign which says they do not sell beef soup without the noodles. Its their tradition. HAha!!! Stupid, can earn $$ can liao what!! After that walked to Haji lane and then Bugis. Weather was alright lah, nv flare at D.D bah. As we could not get the best seats for Red cliff, we decided to enjoy our Awfully Chocolate cake at home. Thought it was $16+++, BUT ITS $25 +++ . It was still worth it. Yummy!!! Just lazing at home is quite good too. Dearest D.D, thank you for your company today and hope to have many more enjoyable days, months and years with you. =* Comment! (0) | Recommend! Kimchi Fare Saturday. 7.19.08 9:02 am Yummy, treated D.D to a Delicious korean fare last weekend. Though ex, but it was well spent. I can finally eat what I have been seeing on drama serials. We ordered a set which consisted of 6 side dishes, 2 meat for bbq, 1 ginseng chicken, 1 bibimbap and 2 servings of fruits. I love the chicken bbq, well marinated and fresh. We had fun cooking the meat in a korean style stove. The ginseng chicken was a really big pot, with rice and ginko nuts inside the chicken. Very herbal, event the chicken meat is so soft that tugging lightly at it, the tender slices of chicken falls apart. The bibimbap was abit not as tasty, not enough beef. Haha... Overall, I was very satisfied with my lunch. Pics: D.D. is beaming with delight ![]() THe food itself ![]() Other food occasions: 1. Buffet on D.D's birthday ![]() 2. Steamboat at Bugis D.D. peeling prawns before cooking them, so sweet. ![]() Final pic: Me ![]() Comment! (1) | Recommend! |
