Review My Post
Friday, February 23, 2007
PayPerPost has a new affiliate program, called Review My Post, that allows others to review your post and get paid for it. It's a great way to earn traffic and earn money. Add a badge at the bottom of every entry and when people review your posts, you get paid $7.50 when they get paid!

How this works is when they click your badge, they join PayPerPost. Then, they write about your latest entry in their blog. That's it! Then, you both get paid, like I said before. They get paid for reviewing and you get paid for referring.

The badge is a simple single line of HTML code. You don't need HTML knowledge to add it; it's already done for you. Just paste the code at the bottom of every entry.

This program is open to all bloggers. It's a great opportunity for those who don't want to do advertiser posts, or if none interest you at the moment. Like I said before, it's a great way to gain traffic for your blog. Lots of links will generate back to your blog. It's another great way for you to get paid to blog.

I think it's a great idea. It's a great way for PayPerPost to gain more members and for people to make extra money. Review My Post is becoming very popular!

PPP Help
Monday, March 5, 2007
I found an interesting article about an acient Greek statue on Yahoo! News a few days ago. It was found in an ancient city burried beneath Mt. Olympus and it's 2,200 years old! =O Go read it! It's really interesting!
Cool Ancient Statue
I like ancient Greek stuff.

I know a few of you are confused about how PayPerPost works, so I'll explain it for you.
Warning: This will be long!

Requirements/rules:
Blogs must have original content.

Blogs must be 90 days old, and have at least 20 existing entries before joining PPP. The age of the blog will be counted from its very first entry.

If you have another blog that is 90 days old and move it elsewhere, they don't count the new location as being 90 days.
(This means that if you have a blog that's older than your NuTang, you can't move it to your NuTang. Either use that blog or wait til your NuTang is 90 days old.)

Blogs have over 20 posts within the past 90 days. (most don't have to be in the same month)

Posts must be made on blogs only, not on websites, instants messagers, emails or forums.

Submitted blogs must have no more than a 30-day gap within 90 days.

Blog content must have some kind of personal revelance (like a diary/journal). They don't except blogs made up entirely of photo, comics, videos, song lyrics, poems, quizzes, surveys, ect. They don't consider those as personal entries.

They don't accept community blogs (blogs with multiple authors).

They don't accept blogs that are made up of links and serve as an information directory.

Blogs must be archived by month.
How I did this was, since NuTang doesn't have one, I did it manually. In my writings, I made a list of my entries, linked every one of them and wrote them out by month. Then, I named the writing "Archives". You can see it here. Then, I linked it to my shortcuts above my mini profile. That's the only way you can do it on here. The numbered pages at the bottom don't count.

If your blog is accepted, they will notify you. And in the "My Blog" section of your account, a thumbs up image will appear next to your blog name.

The code to be accepted is the Diclosure Badge. To get that, log in, go to "My Blogs", then click on the link that says "Get Code". Put the code before the < / head > tag in your layout code. If you don't have that tag, put the code before the < style > tag. If you did it right, the image above "Get Code" will turn into a check mark immediately.

PPP posts must be separated by at least one non-PPP post. You can do three PPP posts everyday.

Posts must be original. Don't copy other bloggers.

You must post a non-PPP post with the last 7 days from before mainking a PPP post.

The date of the PPP opportunity must match that of the blog post.

Non-PPP posts can't be labled as "private" or "locked out". Non-PPP posts must also be one paragraph long (3-5 lines).

Source (reworded in my own words): PPP's TOS page

I hope that helps you understand it more. I advise that you read their TOS youself. You may have a better understanding, than from reading it from me.

I really wanted to explain that to you guys. It's easier if I posted about it, rather than explain it to you individually.

My next post will be for PPP. But I'll keep this up for a few days so you can read it.
