OK, so,
Thursday. 1.1.09 6:39 pm
I really, really, REALLY hate being left out of the loop. I don't like to hear about parties and such after the fact. I mean, it's one thing if the host doesn't know me or there are other reasons to not invite me. Then it's just, "Oh, he/she didn't invite me. Alright."

It's a different beast when you hear about a bunch of your friends getting together, friends who you'd assume would invite you or at least warn you of an upcoming event. Seriously, is it so easy to forget me? I kind of doubt it. Half the people there have my phone number; it takes about 17 seconds to send me a text.

Ugh.

I so know how you feel. Since I switched courses, I've been left out of the loop by those people I call friends from my previous course and I always find out about things from their blogs. I thought I got used to the feeling since it happens so often but heck no.

Aw. Well, I hope they realize what they've done.

well it's probably because they're actually a secret coven of vampires and they were having one of those crazy blood-baths like in the beginnign of Blade 2 and they don't want to bring you into it because you're the only one of the group who still has your immortal soul.

i recently got that kind of 'not invited' too. and it happened in my office. my colleagues have no intention of telling me but purposely let me heard it and expect me to show up at the farewell lunch with thick face. another colleague did invite me but to show my resilience to childishness, i didn't show my face.

it happened once back in college too. my friends were invited and i wasn't and when a friend who got invited asked me why i didn't show up i just told 'i wasn't invited' i was labeled as sensitive and i should be tagging along to the party. i think some people have just got no etiquette and manners.
