Do you believe the phrase "Once a cheater, always a cheater" to be true?

Hmm, in general circumstances, yes. When someone cheats and they don't get caught, it makes them feel more confident that they can do it again.

If you caught the cheater, though, and punished them severely for their crime (say, lock them in a windowless prison twenty feet under the ground for a year) I doubt they'd ever do it again. :P

What am I saying. I wouldn't take a cheater in the first place. I think we all have choices, and the choices we make truly say something about who we are. A cheater may not always be a cheater, but that person is...well, someone I'd call truly despicable.

Well, I don't agree. "Always" is a word too strong to use. Yes, a person who cheat is a cheater but it does not make you always a cheater.

Human make choices and it is normal for human to make mistake (either intentionly or not)....

From a former cheater
