Haunted?

So, my electricity has been flickering wildly for the past ... two days. It wasn't doing that before. It'll be fine, and then it will drop, low enough to set off the UPS alarm.

Beep! Beeep! Beepbeep! Beebeep! ... Five minutes later: BEEP!

So we've unplugged the UPS. The power doesn't ease down into being low, it just goes, and then it suddenly drops.

There's also a lot of crows outside. CAW CAW CAW CAW. Because they're crows, you know. CAW! They like to fly at the window and pull up at the last second, scaring me. Mean ol' crows.

But! yesterday, I came back from class, and my toilet is flushing. There's no one inside, just me, but the toilet is flushing. Not constantly running like a leak, I lifted the lid and watched the tank refill.

I mentioned this to one of my friends, I told him about the crows this morning. He totally thinks that maybe my house is possessed or something.

There are also squirrels that like to sit outside and yell (now with examply goodness!). What about, I don't know.

Imagine if I could control both the crows and squirrels... I'd be unstoppable!

Lights flickering could probably be because of irregular electric supply or something wrong with your fuse box or something but the toilet... OMG! Scary!

Thats creepy. I'd probably flip out if I was alone there and it was doing those things lol.

The toilet in our front bathroom kinda does that too, I think. At least, it makes funny noises that scare me a little.

And yelling squirrels sound very amusing to me.

Squirrels yell?
» bluetopaz on 2008-08-26 11:51:31

Maybe they have, who knows if they've been munching on the lines, got shocked, flew towards your window and snapped back to their senses when they're about to bang into it.

Lots of onomatopoeias
BEEP BEEP CAW CAW

I doubt you'd be able to feed all the crows and squirrels.

Oh Em Gee, I love that air freshener costume. Totally adorable. Liz has a dressup trunk and she loves to dress up, that's for sure!!

Whoa! Thank you for the caw caw cawing. And the beep beep beeping. (I added my own version of caws and beeps)

But yeah, that's kind of freaky. You should get a picture of a cat and make it face the outside on your window. The crows will be terrified and haunt some other house. Maybe the toilet wants to be cleaned?

But in all seriousness, maybe it is haunted. How long has it been going like that? And did you just move in or have you been there for awhile? Because it would be weird if you've been there for awhile and all of a sudden these things happen out of nowhere. Maybe you have a freeloader ghost with a love for caw caw cawing crows and beep beep beeping jeepers creapers.
