There's a blog that talks about how lowercase 'L' looks like uppercase 'I'.

I was watching telly, and a commercial for one of those college-at-home programs comes on.

The url was http://www.SchoolInPjs.com

The font made it look like school ln(pjs).com. (Edit: I guess I should clarify by ln(pjs) I mean the natural logarithmof pajamas...)

School ln(pjs) doesn't work. School In PJs looks very, VERY shady.

haha, that's pretty funny. I've noticed it before, but never really paid too much attention. only when the person's handwriting is not-so-good or when it's really obvious in large font. but why anyone would type part of a word in uppercase letters and then the rest in lowercase, is beyond me

I used to use lower case "l" for upper case "i" in texts till I was told that they don't always look the same for all phones.

I do that if I'm trying to write fast. also beacause I hate the way my uppercase "L"s look.

I know its so irritating when I have to type a capitol I and it looks like an l. Also the l looks similar to the number 1 depending on the font
