I need to be aware. Aware of what, I'm not quite sure.

Everyone's throwing this that other whatnot at me going 'ZOMG ____AWARENESS!!"

It's "Jewish Awareness month". "Holocaust awareness week". Not too long ago it was "Gay awareness week".

There's always some sort of "awareness" day going on. WTF? Why do I have to be aware of ONE thing in particular???

Why does everyone throw their "cause" around?

What am I supposed to be aware of? That there are gay people? Jews? That, god forbid, the Holocaust happened??? That there's black history? Autism? Cancer?

Perhaps troops?

I'm not trying to cheapen any of these things, but damn! Every time I turn around, someone's trying to make me "aware" of them.

*grumble*

Another thing that's pissing me off: Chevrolet's commercials. I'm tired of people trying to sell me cars in a "hip", "urban" manner.

I don't want a shitty techno-r&b-rap version of some theme repeated over and over again, so you can sell me a shitty car.

For a while, I'd wanted an Impala... after the recent rash of crappy commercials (starting with that god-forsaken President's day one), I don't want one anymore.

My money would go to shitty commercials.

I'm going to stop buying things that have commercials that make me angry.

you're on strike due to shitty commercials? awesome! I'm just sick of seeing commercials get dumber and dumber. About the only ones that actually affect me to buy something are some of the food commercials; esp if I'm hungry already.

my dad always says that when he picks me up from
the coffee house, but i guess my senses have been dulled to it. i dont usually tend to get literal coffee either, just things like chai or hot cocoa. or muffins or scones.
