I have a really good idea for a book. I'll probably start it after I finish The Murder of Bindy Mackenzie because, you know, I really want to finish that book and writing and stopping another story just makes me forget all the suspense that it builds up. Gasp! a teen novel that builds up suspense without dragons! I guess I'm not the most open-minded person.

Anyway, please don't steal the idea, but here it is:
A girl feels betrayed by her so-called "best friend". She starts ignoring her and acts mean toward her and her opinions. Because they had been friends for what seemed like forever and she wished to get revenge, the clever girl worked out the perfect plan. Hit her where it hurts.
Using her wits and knowledge of her friend's likes, dislikes, and weaknesses, the girl manipulates the friend's life little by little, hoping to climax with the ultimate humiliation: being rejected by the girl's crush. Things seem to be working in the girl's favor until outside forces cause her plans to fall apart. But even as the plan disintigrates, she will not let herself be revealed!

Oh yes. That is totally going to unfold like a Jaclyn Moriarty story. Stuff is mentioned that comes up later on, etc. I love that kind of story, it makes the whole thing worth reading and well planned out.

So anyway, that's about it. I just felt like updating, as my last post politely mentioned. (P.S. It's password is watermelon ;D) Maybe I'll start posting my story to my reading when I have enough time to start it.

That reminds me, I brought the wrong folder home today so I couldn't finish my English dialogue -o- Hopefully we watch the To Kill A Mockingbird movie and she forgives me or something good like that. XD

I don't know why but I keep thinking that I saw the word 'watermelon' in your entry somewhere....

You know... your story kind of sounds like my life. :0 Except I hadn't thought of the manipulating part.

Ohhhh so it IS in there. Hehe. Sometimes the first word I think I'm seeing turns out to be nonexistant in the entry... guess that wasn't the case this time. :P
