16 Oct 09- Post bdae dinner for Tuck Ge

The guys (i.e. TF and JY) were supposed to plan for Tuck Ge's dinner. But, I was the one who chose the place, Miss Clarity Cafe. Hehe. Am running out of ideas le lah. Anything food was good, I ordered Soft Shell Crab Angel's hair pasta. Very nice, portion was pretty big. "Luckily" got D.D. to pinch abit of food from me. Ya rite! Pics of food:

Attended Tricia and Bernard's wedding dinner a few weeks ago @ Orchard Hotel. Me and D.D> arrived early, so we dropped by Old Chang Ki outside Forum and had a few sticks of prawn and etc. Was surprised that there were alot of couples having their wedding dinner on the same day, same hotel and same floor. Was shocked to see so many uncles, aunties. Finally found the bride and proceeded to the waiting area. 1st course only arrived at 8 plus, luckily i had some food beforehand as most of my frenz were starving by then. Noticed that Bride and Groom were both shy and nervous as they speed-walked the red carpet. Hehe. Was very tired by the end as dinner ended at abt 10 plus. Here are some of the pics taken.

Shall just keep it short, feeling drowsy, nose itchy, eyes droopy.

Very fortunate to have D.D picking me up after work on Sat, 26th Sep (my fav day of the year). Weather was especially humid, went to Clarke Quay for lunch at Ma Maison. Set lunch waas very affordable and the ambience was very relaxing.

After that, went to watch see F1 at the esplanade area. Got 2 free tix from D.D.'s sis, tix were for marina bay grandstand i.e. floating platform. Only stayed for about 2 hours. Trying to catch the cars in the pictures were a chore. My cam is prob too slow, many pics were just the background, no cars. hehe.

24th Birthday- Pre-celebration on 19 Sep with 1B22

Time really flies especially when u r with a bunch of really good frenz, family members and ur beloved bf or gf. Invited a few frenz for dinner @ Bugis. I kept them in suspense by nt saying anything about the place. In the end, we went to eat at this Zi Char place in Bugis. Felt abit sorry that some of the gals wore pretty outfits just to eat zi char. Hehe, but hey we havent tried that as a group. Wat's more, the food was great and different from the normal zi char.

Conclusion: Songs were meaningful, nice to sway or wave ur hands to. Shagged at the end, lasted till 12 plus. The Longest concert I have ever attended. Worth $$$.

Next up was the Army Open House on 6 Sep. Woohoo! Feels great to see the guys in uniform. Haha....

7 Sep- Unfortunate event happened
I "accidentally" scatched my 3D mole which was on my tummy while slping. Nt realising till i saw the blood on the towel after bathing in the morning for work. The mole was 2/3 detached from my skin, it was super scary, tried to pull out the remaining 1/3, but i couldnt pull the courage and excrutiating pain to do it. Pasted a plaster and went for work with a heavy heart and worried mind. Smsed mom and was immediately told to visit the clinic for treatment. Waited damn long (3 hours plus), very hungry coz havent had lunch. 1 doc noticed me and told me that he will attend to me soon even though my no. was nt up anytime soon. Finally, saw him and i told him i want my mole to be removed since its detached anyway while he recommended to remove a much bigger ("slice") and I would have a scar after that. Of coz, i chose the former, remove. Had a jab to the tummy area to numb the area and the doc used a shiny thing to pull or cut my mole. The waiting part was the worst as I didnt know what to expect. I have vowed to becareful when i slp at nite, no scratching of moles again.

8 Aug- Pre-National Day Cum Welcome Party for Jia Yang

Everybody brought food to Jy condo's function room. The most hot item i.e. food cooked, is NUGGUTS. Haha, in the end, we couldnt finish the food, had to throw away the left-overs. For me, I made sandwiches and brought the sandwich toaster, can eat hot and fresh sandwich wat. Good Idea!

15 Aug- Brother's 21st Bday @ home

When u r not the bdae person, u r the worker. Was so bz that dae, prepare the buffet line (catering), bbq the satays, gather the kids for photo and singing for bdae song with alot of effort and clean up.

16 Aug- Army Half Marathon @ Marina Bay Area

Damn shagged as slept late the nite b4 and woke up at 5 plus am. Alot of army people, woohoo! Anyway, there were seas of red, green and white for the recruits. Pros of the race is alot of water points and scenery to see while running or walking. Cons is D.D. kept pushing me, running in front of me and turning back to check on me. But thankfully, we managed to finish the 10 km run. Woohoo!
