So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Eventually go to Jacqueline's house and fall asleep on her king-sized couch bed. Actual events: Go to airport, board plane... mechanical problem, flight is canceled. Get off plane, wait in line for three hours, get booked on flight for next day which is too late, wait on hold with another airline for 1h15, get someone who doesn't really speak English, try to speak Spanish, get told to call a couple of numbers that definitely don't work, eat Taco Bell in a shady parking lot at 1 am, return home. 3 Comments. I am now intensely curious about this hot chocolate. Dang though, what an unfortunate turn of events. » randomjunk on 2017-01-16 02:41:28 What. da. fuq. This is what I dread THE MOST about traveling. I once had to wait 3 days--nope, that turned into a week--to fly home. Ugh, so bummed your plans didn't go well cuz they sounded AWESOME. I have never been to Paris OR had a real French-made croissant. I hope the trip still happens somehow!!! » Silver-dot- on 2017-02-03 02:57:05 Oh gosh that bloody suck!!! I hope you manage to get a do-over for the trip » Nuttz on 2017-02-20 02:13:47
