I didn't intend for this to be a rant, really.
Wednesday. 7.11.07 11:37 am
Today was a wake up call. It was my first gymnastics / regular practice since Nationals, and that was almost two weeks ago. So I'll be getting progressively sorer as the week continues, but me sweating like a demon has yielded some mighty fine results. We worked on our 4 person freestyle for Worlds...honestly I'm surprised how much structure we built into the routine already. Albeit, most of the stuff is taken from mine and Jesse's single rope freestyles, but still it works, and it looks damn good. Also, within two more gymnastics practices I will have a back tuck on the floor, I am making this as a promise to myself. You are all witnesses.

After the mornings chaos (and a delicious toasted Subway Melt with pepperjack cheese and all the toppings) I had to help my dad for a few hours putting in the new dryer. Appliances are beasts to do anything with these days. I should know, we've replaced the refrigerator, dish washer, and dryerr all this year. But they've all been old , we're not richy riches who get tired of our "totally last year" gadgets. The only thing that's remained is the oven and stove. Knock on wood.

On a lighter note, I am free from the tyranny of my sister, for a few days at least. She's journied off to dance camp with her scatterbrain coach and equally mindless minions. I'm not worried, she'll fit right in. Haha yes, I sound so merciless I know. But I have just cause. She left the toilet paper roll empty before leaving. Unforgivable.

Speaking of things that have gotten on my bad side lately (okay I'm not really mad at her for the toiler paper thing, really), Aquapod needs to perish. Behold evil incarnate.

These are the gimmicky little bottles of water that have been plauguing me for the past few weeks. "OMG mommy loooook at those bottles of water...they're shaped more differenter OMG mommy buy them!!!1!!11!!" And Nestle (they're making them) tries to parade around promoting "the more hydrated teenager." More hydrated my ass, teenagers don't care about that crap. Yay water filled in a container shaped like a malformed egg, that'll definitely get teenagers to drink more! I love Crunch bars, Nestle, but really, you brought this one step too far. Oh and parents are also depicted as zombies on the Aquapod website, that's how obsessed I am with ridding this disease from the Earth. Why does it bother me so much? I don't know.

Although the fact that they're making a live action Bratz movie probably hasn't helped my mood. I was hoping the actresses would have insane collagen-enhanced lips and massive bellbottoms, but unfortunately the only thing they bring to the silver screen is their inner biatch, which the movie seems to be promoting among the females of the younger generation.

End of rant

Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Even if it wasn't intented, your rant is funny. :P

I thought you male types were supposed to be good with machinery. Isn't that what guys are for? :P

Hmm... I suppose that must be your older sister.. Haha! Well, scatterbrain coach and mindless minions, I see.. your sister must be pretty popular.. Those bottles reminds me of Sumo wrestlers.. I hope I don't see them here..

LOL You're rants always crack me up! XD

Fads are annoying. The bottles are cute, though. lol

I want to see Bratz. ^^! I think it looks cute.
» Kirei on 2007-07-11 11:53:21

haha, I think those water bottles are cute, but I don't they'd be very satisfying for an athlete.
re: close enough, probation officer, parole officer, same thing. I can't remember if I mentioned him being in jail or not, but he was at one point and then again when he was caught violating his probation. he still violates it, just about every day when he gets in a car and drives with a suspended license. *shrugs* oh well. that's his choice

O. M. G.
BRATZ, THE MOVIE? THAT'S NOT ANIMATED? AND IT'S COMING TO THEATERS?
When I saw Transformers yeterday (awesome!!), I thought I saw a poster with four(?) girls on it that said 'Bratz', but I hoped I was just seeing things.
I've always hated those stupid things. To me, they've promoted the giggly, snotty attitude that sounds something like "hehehe....LO-SER!!". Like eight-year-old versions of "Mean Girls", or something atrocious like that.
I'm not looking forward to a future with that kind of attitude... =/

At first I thought the name on the 'bottles' was "aquapoo" and not "aquapod". XD

UNFORGIVABLE. hahahahaha
» Serendipity on 2007-07-11 07:12:34

hooray!
A rant from muffy~! We haven't had one of those in a while. =P Bratz are stupid. They're called bratz for a reason. ;D Brats. And what the heck's with the huge lips? Oh, boy, live action...I wonder who's gonna took up the offer? Bye, muffy~!

My throat does feel better now after taking a number of things and drinking more water.

Ahh.. Spanish.. I don't know why, but I always love foreign languages so I sometimes pick some up while watching TV and there are a number of Spanish movies aired here. Well, sorry I didn't elaborate in my post about the classes, basically, the Eng4U class is one level higher than the Eng4C class.. and whatever they're going to teach in both classes are entirely different.

Thanks, yes i designed it myself, i plan on making anew one that looks even better, i mean i like it, but i want something more. But with me, i'm always thriving for more lol. Yeah, i was kind of overreacting on the whole DDR thing i guess, but i'm also working out too, i will shed those 30 pounds by the end of summer, if it the last thing i do!

You just made me laugh
That was a great read. Especially the "behold evil incarnate" with those water bottles that holds not nearly enough water to keep the average teen hydrated, let alone peak their interest.

In my entry I was referring more towards my other journal in wordpress, where it seems the only comments I get are from spam and pornbots advertising hot steamy xxx action for $69.99 a month. Stupid I tell you. Stupid.

The iPhone has been my saving grace at work as I dish out my inner office demon on piles upon piles of paperwork; it's all good though. When I mentioned Naruto 3, I was referring to the third movie (I think) that was about him being on an island shaped like a crescent moon.

Anyway, thanks for the fun read and I will now save you as a friend. Be afraid. (Just kidding about the last part).

WOW.
Are you serious?
That's crazy.
You could kill yourself & not even know it.

& cold sores, you're lucky.
CUZ THEY HURT SO MUCH :[
» ShaShaBoo on 2007-07-12 08:41:27

Hahahaha!!
Those bottles are so tiny! Are they made in Japan...? All Japan stuff are tiny, and I doubt those tiny little bottles can keep the teens hydrated. They do look rather cute...
» Bullet on 2007-07-13 03:50:16

rant or not, I agree... Aquaod is just... it's irritating. They think that if the bottle is shaped differently it'll make kids want to drink water. Well, it doesn't have caffine, sugar, or even flavour, so the age they're advertising to isn't gonan want it. And with the Bratz movie... that proves cinema has come to an end. Some good movies are still coming out, but a movie based on dolls? It's simply the end of it.
