Just today

My son is really not college material and yet he is going. I am proud of that. I think what he needs is an opportunity, not a JOB. Yes, there is a difference. One is a career path and the other stands for Just Over Broke. I introduced him to some people from my school that are professionals in various fields and he did our video work for us. One of my old classmates just called me and asked for my sons number. I am hoping that he is looking to give my son an opportunity to do video editting for them. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Congrats to him! I think careers are better than jobs, especially with how things are today. It's more difficult than previous years. I wish my husband had a career instead of a job and I want one myself.

Gratz!
As someone who's just going into the college process I have to say that it really is a pain. Definetely overly-competitive. And personally, I've got no idea what kind of career I'm looking for right now, so its good to hear that there may be some hope after all.

Wonderful!
College is hard, but if he wants to do well, he will. But remember, college isn't for everyone. My brother didn't go to college, but he has done very well for himself. Six figures. He owns his own construction company. But that's his career, not his job.

Yes, my dog is dead. I saw his body in a box but it was really dark outside and I could barely make him out. My mom saids that his body is covered in blood but I couldn't see it.

But on a lighter topic, congrats that your son is going away to college. College is only a few years away for me but I know a few people who already have their schools picked out.

It always feels good to move forward
When I get older, I want to be a stay-at-home mom.

But 'til I find that someone, I'm kinda interested in some kind of secretarial work. I love putting things in order. Even when I was younger, when I went to other people's houses, I'd start organizing their dolls, and stuff. lol

Well, hope your son does well, and that you have a great week!

Congrats!! I'm going to college soon too. Waiting for my mom to decide which college she wants to send me to. Hope he gets the chance.
